2 {y}^{2}  + 3 \sqrt{5} y - 10 = 0
2 {y}^{2}  + 4 \sqrt{5} y -  \sqrt{5} - 10 = 0
2y(y + 2 \sqrt{5} ) -  \sqrt{5} (y + 2 \sqrt{5} ) = 0
(2y -  \sqrt{5} )(y + 2 \sqrt{5} ) = 0
hence \: y =  \frac{ \sqrt{5} }{2}  \: or \: y =  - 2 \sqrt{5}
