10x+15y=105---------(2)

from (1)

y=x/2--------------------(3)

put in (2)

10x+15*x/2=105

(20x+15x)/2=105

x=105*2/35

Answer:

2y − x = 0 ⇒x=2y .....(I)

10x + 15y = 105 .....(II)

Taking out 5 common from (II)

2x+3y=21 .....(III)

From (I) and (III)

2(2y)+3y=21

⇒4y+3y=21

⇒7y=21

⇒y=3

x=2×3

=6
