Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let 2y- x = 0 ⇒ x = 2y ⇒ x - 2y -------eq ( 1 ) and

10x + 15y = 105 ⇒ 5 ( 2x + 3y ) = 5 ( 21 )⇒ 2x + 3y = 21---------eq ( 2 )

⇒Multiply eq ( 1 ) with 3 and eq ( 2 ) with 2,we get

3 ×[ ( x - 2y ) = 0 ] ⇒3x - 6y = 0 -----------eq ( 3 )

2 × [ ( 2x + 3y ) = 21 ] ⇒ 4x + 6y = 42 ----------eq ( 4 )

Now adding eq (3) + eq (4),we get

3x - 6y + 4x + 6y = 0 + 42

⇒ 7x = 42

⇒x = 42/7

⇒x = 6

Now substituting " x = 6 " in the eq ( 1 ), we get

x - 2y = 0

⇒ 6 - 2y = 0

⇒ 2y = = 6

⇒ y = 6/2

⇒y = 3.

∴ x = 6 and y = 3.
