10x + 15y = 105 ------(1)

2y - x = 0

=> x = 2y

On substituting the value of x in equation 1, we get

10(2y) + 15y = 105

=> 20y + 15y = 105

=> 35y = 105

=> y = 3

x = 2 × 3 = 6

Hey Mate !!

Given,

The above equations can be solved through the Substitution method.

10x + 15y = 105 ----(1)

2y - x = 0

x = 2y

Substitute x in eq - 1

10 (2y) + 15y = 105

20y + 15y = 105

35y = 105

y = 105/35

y = 3

Substitute y in eq 2

2 (3) - x = 0

6 - x = 0

x =6
