2y - x = 0

10x + 15y = 105

equation 1:

2y - x = 0

2y = 0+x

2y = x

y =  \frac{x}{2}

substituting y for x/2 in equation 2:

10x + 15y = 105

10x + 15( \frac{x}{2}) = 105

10x +  \frac{15x}{2}  = 105

lcm = 2

 \frac{20x + 15x}{2}  = 105

 \frac{35x}{2}  = 105

35x = 105×2

35x = 210

x =  \frac{210}{35}

x = 6

hence

y =  \frac{x}{2}  =  \frac{6}{2}  = 3

y = 3.

hope it helps

have a great day
