2y - x = 4xy......i

 \frac{4}{y}  -  \frac{3}{x}  = 9.....ii

let's solve the 2nd equation.....

 \frac{4}{y}  -  \frac{3}{x}  = 9

 \frac{4x - 3y}{xy}  = 9xy

4x - 3y = 9xy...ii

now let's solve both the equations....

i and ii

-x +2y=4xy

4x-3y=9xy......1

to subtract we must make atleast I coffiecient to be equal...so let's make x to be equal....

so -x+2y=4xy is multiplied by 4

4(-x+2y=4xy)

-4x+8y=16xy....2

let's subtract now.....1 and 2

4x-3y=9xy

-4x+8y=16xy

+ + +

__________

5y=25xy

y=25xy/5

=> y=5xy

=> 1/5=xy/y

1/5=x/y

so.... therefore....x=1

and y =5
