Answer:
(2z - 7) - 3 (3z + 8) = 4z - 9
2z - 7 - 9z - 24 = 4z - 9
2z - 9z - 7 - 24 = 4z - 9
- 7z - 31 = 4z - 9
- 7z - 4z = - 9 + 31
- 11z = - 22
z = - 22 ÷ (- 11)
z = - 2
Hence z = - 2
Hope it helps

Answer:
(2z - 7) - 3(3z + 8) = 4z - 9
→ 2z -7 - (9z + 24) = 4z - 9
→ 2z -7 -9z -24 = 4z - 9
→ 2z -7 -9z = 4z - 9 +24
→2z -7 -9z = 4z+15
→ 2z -9z -7 = 4z+15
→ -7z -7 = 4z+15
→ -7z = 4z +15-7
→ -7z = 4z + 8
→ -7z -4z = 8
→ -11z = 8
→ z = 8/11
