No. of moles

= Given no. of particles / Avogadro no.

No. of moles in 3.011×10^23 atoms of c = 3.011×10^23 / 6.022 x 10^23

= 0.5 moles

first of all, 1 mole = 6.022 × 10^23

this number is also known as avogadro number. named in the honour if Amedeo avogadro.

now, we have to find the no. of moles in 3.011 × 10^23 atoms of carbon (C)

 \sf we \: know, \: 1 \: mole = 6.022 \times {10}^{23} \\ \\ \sf \therefore \: no. \: of \: moles \: in \: 3.011 \times {10}^{23} \\ \sf atoms \: \sf of \: c= \frac{given \: no. \: of \: atoms}{avogrado \: number} \\ \\ \sf = \frac{3.011 \times \cancel{ {10}^{23}} }{6.022 \times \cancel{ {10}^{23}} } \\ \\ = \sf \boxed{0.5}</p><p>

hence, the no. of moles in 3.011 × 10^23 atoms of carbon is 0.5
