given series 3,1,-1,-3
common difference=a2-a1
=1-3
=-2
and 1 st term is 3

Method Of Solution;-

let to be first term "a' and it's CommOn difference 'd'.

We know that to find Common difference must be T2-T1 ,

Here,

T1=3

T2=1

Hence, Common difference =1-3=-2

Again, ACCORDING to the Question!+

First term if any in Arithmetic Sequence or Progression First Number Considered to be First term!

hence, First term=3
