Before finding 11th term, firstly we have to find the value of common difference of AP. Common difference is the difference between two consecutive terms. To find the common difference, we will subtract any two consecutive terms.

Common difference=a2-a1

Common difference=-1/2-(-3)

Common difference=-1/2+3

Common difference=(-1+6)/2

Common difference=5/2

Common difference=2.5

Now we have formula for nth term:

an=a+(n-1)d

Put value of n=11

a11=-3+(11-1)(2.5)

a11=-3+(10)(2.5)

a11=-3+25

a11=22

So the required 11th term of AP is 22.
