√3 + 1/2+√2.....
can we take direct LCM over here.... should we continue here by first rationalizing the 1/2+√2 term in order to solve the question?

I hope your question is

 \sqrt{3}  +  \frac{1}{2 +  \sqrt{2} }

You can solve it either by directly taking LCM and then rationalizing OR by first rationalizing and then taking LCM. It will take almost same effort and time.

I would suggest directly taking LCM and then rationalize at the end.
