hey mate!!

( \sqrt{3}  + 1)(3 -  \sqrt{3} )

 =   3\sqrt{3}  -  { \sqrt{3} }^{2}  + 3 -  \sqrt{3}

 =  2\sqrt{3}  - 3 + 3 = 2 \sqrt{3}
