Explanation:

A laboratory thermometer has markings from -10 degrees C to 110 degrees C while a clinical thermometer has markings from 35 degrees C to 43 degrees C. A laboratory thermometer can only be used in a lab to measure the temp. of chemicals and heated mixtures etc. while clinical thermometer is used to measure the temp. of human body.

P.S.--Temperature is the measure of amount of energy in an object due to which heat is released.
