3/10 of a wall was completed on day 1, 1/14 of the wall was completed on day 2,3/15 of the wall was completed on day 3.If he total length of the wall was 1540/3 metres, find. (1) what part of wall was constructed on day 4? (2) how many metres of the wall was constructed on day 4 ?

Length of wall=1540/3

total part constructed in 1st,2nd and 3rd day

=3/10+1/14+3/15

=3*21/210+15/210+14*3/210

=63/210+15/210+42/210

=1/210(63+15+42)

=120/210=4/7

The balance =1-4/7

=7/7-4/7=3/7

Hence 3/7 was constructed on 4th day

length=3/7*1540*3

=1540/7=220 meter
