Concept

The product of fractions is obtained by simply multiplying all the terms in the numerator together and all the terms in the denominator together. For example- x/y * w/z = xw/yz

Given

an expression 3/11*(-5/6)*(-22/9)*(-9/5)

Find

we need to solve the given expression

Solution

We have

3/11*(-5/6)*(-22/9)*(-9/5)

Multiplying all the terms in the numerator together and similarly for the denominator, we get

= (3*-5*-22*-9)/(11*6*9*5)

As we can see there are 3 negative signs and one positive sign in the numerator. (-)(-)(-)(+) = (+)(-) = (-). Thus the numerator will be negative.

= (-2970)/(2970)

= -1

Hence, the value of the expression 3/11*(-5/6)*(-22/9)*(-9/5) is -1
