Hey mate!!!!

Given Question
 {3}^{2} - {2}^{2} \times 5
Firstly we should solve out the exponents.
=
 {3}^{2} - {2}^{2} \times 5 \\ = 9 - 4 \times 5
Now by using BODMAS
Multiplication comes first before subtraction
so
9 - 4 \times 5 \\ = 9 - 20 \\ = - 11
-11 is the answer

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️✌️
