(3 + √2)(3 - √3)

According to the identities, (x + a)(x + b) = x^2 + (a + b)x + ab

Let a represent √2, b represent -√3 and x represent 3.

(3 + √2)(3 - √3) = (3)^2 + (√2 - √3)*3 + √2*(-√3)

(3 + √2)(3 - √3) = 9 + 3√2 - 3√3 - √6

Hope it helps :)
