3(2.4−1.1m)=2.7m+3.2
=7.2-3.3m = 2.7m + 3.2
= 7.2. - 3.2 = 2.7m + 3.3 m
= 4.0 = 6.0 m
= m = 4 /6
= m = 2/3

3(2.4 − 1.1m ) = 2.7m + 3.2

Distribute 3:

7.2 - 3.3m = 2.7m + 3.2

Add 3.3m from both sides:

7.2  = 6m + 3.2

Subtract 3.2 from both sides:

4 = 6m

switch sides:

6m = 4

Divide both sides by 6:

m = 4/6 = 2/3 or 0.7 (nearest tenths)

Answer: m = 0.7
