Therefore ,

∆PRQ ~ ∆LST ( A.A similarity )

Then ,

QR/ST = PQ/TL

=> 3/4.5 = 5/x

=> 3x = 5 × 4.5

=> x = ( 5 × 4.5 )/3

x = 7.5
