3×+2y=3.......(1) 3×-4y=27..........(2)

By elimination method,

subtracting (2) equation from (1) , we get

3x+2y -(3x-4y) = 3-27

3x+2y-3x+4y = -24

6y= -24

y= -24/6

y= -4

putting this value in equation (1), we get

3x+2(-4) = 3

3x-8= 3

3x= 3+8

3x= 11

x= 11/3

Hence the value of x and y are 11/3 and -4
