3+3*3-3+3 what is the answer

QwertyZoom: 3+3*3-3+3 = 3+9-3+3 = 3+9 = 12
svikram49: but why :-(
QwertyZoom: It's basic BODMAS rule. You should always multiply first and then subtract or add
svikram49: ohh
QwertyZoom: No you added first
QwertyZoom: See the difference, we're even getting different answers
svikram49: yes it's my mistake

6*3-3+3
=6*0+3
=6*3
=18

 according to BODMAS then...

3+3*3-3+3
=3+9-3+3
=12-3+3
=9+3
=12

QwertyZoom: you screwed up bodmas...
QwertyZoom: you first multiply and then add/subtract

i learned that first multiply and then add/subtract
so, 3+3*3-3+3=12
3*3=9  , 3+9-3+3=12

svikram49: 3+3=6, 6*3=18, 18-3=15, 15+3=18 so, 18 is the answer
