Answer:-

The Required Number Is 120.

Explanation:-

Given:-

  • \tt\dfrac{3}{4} of a number is greater than \tt\dfrac{2}{3} of the number by 10.

To Find:-

  • The Number.

And Hence,

  • Let the number be x.

So,

\\  \bf\bullet \:  \:   \dfrac{3}{4}  \:  \:  \:  \: of \: \:  \:   \: x =   \orange{ \bf \frac{3}{4}  \times x.}

Similarly,

\\  \bf\bullet \:  \:   \dfrac{2}{3}  \:  \:  \:  \: of \: \:  \:   \: x  + 10=   \orange{ \bf  \bigg(\frac{2}{3} \times x \bigg)+ 10}.

Therefore ATQ:-

\\ \tt\mapsto \bigg( \dfrac{3}{4}  \times x \bigg) =  \bigg( \frac{2}{3}  \times x \bigg) + 10.

\\ \tt\mapsto \dfrac{3x}{4}  =  \frac{2x}{3} + 10.

\\ \tt\mapsto \frac{3x}{4}  =  \frac{2x + (10 \times 3)}{3} .  \\ \\   \rm taking \:  \:  \:  \: lcm.

\\ \tt\mapsto \frac{3x}{4}  =  \frac{2x + 30}{3}  .

\\ \tt\mapsto3(3x) = 4(2x + 30).

\\ \tt\mapsto9x = 8x + 120.

\\ \tt\mapsto9x - 8x = 120.

 \large \red{ \mapsto \boxed{ \blue{ \bf x = 120.}}}

\bf\therefore The Required Number Is x = 120.

Question:-

3/4 of a number is greater than 2/3 of the number by 10. What is the number ?

Answer:-

Let the number be x

Then, 3/4 of that number will be 3x/4

And, 2/3 of that number will be 2x/3

A/q

(3/4 of the number) - (2/3 of the number) = 10

➨ 3x/4 - 2x/3 = 10

➨ (9x - 8x)/12 = 10

➨ x / 12 = 10

x = 120

Ans. The number is 120
