3. 4. The length of a rectangular hall exceeds its breadth by 7 m. If the breadth is decreased by l m and the length increased by 2 m, the area remains the same. Find the length and breadth of the hall. ​

L = B + 7

(B-1)(L+2) = (B + 7)(B)

(B-1)(B+9) = (B+7)(B)

-B + 9B -9 = 7B

B = 9 m

and L = 16 m
