Simple Interest in Case of Rohit

 {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{ \: Interest \: =\: \dfrac{Principal \: \times \: Rate \: \times \: Time }{100} }}\\

 {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{ \: Interest \: =\: \dfrac{40\cancel{00} \: \times \: 15 \: \times \: 5 }{1\cancel{00}} }}\\

 {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{ \: Interest \: =\: 40 \: \times \: 15 \: \times \: 5 }}\\

 {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{ \: Interest \: =\: Rs,3000 }}\\

 {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\bf{ \: Interest \:for \: Rohit \: =\: Rs,3000 }}\\

Simple Interest in Case of Sunil

 \longmapsto \sf{\sf{ \: Interest \: =\: \dfrac{Principal \: \times \: Rate \: \times \: Time }{100} }}\\

 \longmapsto \sf{\sf{ \: Interest \: =\: \dfrac{40\cancel{00} \: \times \: 15 \: \times \: 1.5 }{1\cancel{00}} }}\\

 \longmapsto \sf{\sf{ \: Interest \: =\: 40 \: \times \: 15 \: \times \: 1.5 }}\\

 \longmapsto \sf{\sf{ \: Interest \: =\: Rs,900 }}\\

 \longmapsto \sf{\bf{ \: Interest \:for \: Sunil\: =\: Rs,900 }}\\

━━━━━━━━━━━━

Difference Between their Interests

 \dashrightarrow \sf{\sf{ \: Difference \: =\: 3000 \: - \: 900 }}\\

 \dashrightarrow \sf{\sf{ \: Difference \: =\: 2100 }}\\

━━━━━━━━━━━━

So, Difference between their Interests is Rs,2100
