Hello Buddy,

Thanks For Asking the Question

Your Answer is Below

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question :-

\frac{3}{4x-1} = \frac{1}{2x+4}

Answer :-

x = \frac{-13}{2}

Explanation :-

\frac{3}{4x-1} = \frac{1}{2x+4}

  • cross multiply

⇒ 3 ( 2x + 4 ) = 1 ( 4x - 1 )

⇒ 6x + 12 = 4x - 1

  • Shift numericals to RHS and x's to LHS

⇒ 6x - 4x = -1 - 12

⇒ 2x = -13

⇒ x = \frac{-13}{2}
