3^(4x)=1/81. please find the value of x.

3^(4x) = (1/81)=(81)^(-1) = (3⁴)^(-1) = 3^(-4)

so 4x = -4
x= -1

>> write in exponential form

3^(4x)=3^-4

>> the exponents are equal

4x=-4

>> divide both sides by 4

X=-1
