Here we are given an equation 3( 4x - 3) - 2( 5x - 8) = 17

We have to solve this equation to find the value of x

So, we will fist solve the bracket

3( 4x - 3) - 2( 5x - 8) = 17

12x - 9 - 10x + 16 = 17

                   2x + 7 = 17

                          2x = 17 - 7

                           2x = 10

                            x = 5

Hence, the value of x will be 5
