Given :

  • 4y + 3 = 3
  • 7y = 5x + 1

To Find :

  • The value of x and y

Solution :

Given :

4y + 3 = 3

7y = 5x + 1

To Find :

The value of x and y

Solution :

4y + 3 = 3 ————(1)

7y = 5x + 1 ————(2)

From eq (1)

→ 4y + 3 = 3

→ 4y = 3 - 3

→ y = 0/4

→ y = 0

Putting ( y = 0 ) in eq (2)

→ 7y = 5x + 1

→ 7(0) = 5x + 1

→ 0 = 5x + 1

→ 5x + 1 = 0

→ 5x = - 1

→ x = - 1/5
