Answer:3/8 is the smallest among them

Step-by-step explanation:There are many ways u can find the smallest and greatest rational number by simply dividing it

Like 3/5=0.6 and so on i.e.0.5,0.66,0.5,0.3

But if u don't know division taking decimals u can do so by comparing taking L. C. M though this works for less numbers to compare like in the above question u see 3/5 and 1/2 so u can compare it and for this firstly take the LCM of the denominator which gives 5*2=10

Now to make denominator of both same simply multiply 2 and 5with both numerator and denominator

3*2/5*2=6/10

and 1*5/2*5=5/10

Now the denominator are same u can compare 6/10>3/10. But this is for comparing less numbers and as there are five numbers to compare this become difficult to take LCM then multiply numbers to get all denominators same

So simply if it's an mcq question just see which rational number has numerator lesd than denominator with greater difference like in the above case u can see 3/8 is one which has numerator 5less than denominator and thus its value is the least than others which have a difference of 1,2,or 3
