 \frac{3}{5}  +  \frac{2}{4}  =  \frac{12 + 10}{20}  \\  \\ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   =  \frac{22}{20}  \\  \\ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  =   \frac{11}{10}

 \frac{3}{5}  +  \frac{2}{4}  \\  \\  \\



To make the denominator same in both, taking LCM and LCM will be ( 4 × 5 ) = 20


So,


 =  >  \frac{12 + 10}{20}  \\  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{22}{20}  \\  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{11 \times 2}{ 10\times 2}  \\  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{11}{10}
