(3-5x)/7-x/4=1/2+(5-4x) /8

=>(12-20x-7x)/7=(8+10-8x)/4

=>(12-27x) /7=(18-8x) /4

=>84-108x=126-56x

=>52x=-42

=>x=-42/52

x = -3/2

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{4(3-5x)-7(x)}{28}=\frac{4+1(5-4x)}{8}\\\frac{12-20x-7x}{28}=\frac{4+5-4x}{8}\\\frac{12-27x}{28}=\frac{9-4x}{8}\\\frac{12-27x}{7}=\frac{9-4x}{2}\\

By cross multiplication

2(12-27x)=7(9-4x)\\24-54x=63-28x\\24-63=-28x+54x\\-39=26x\\x=\frac{-39}{26}\\x=\frac{-3}{2}
