Step-by-step explanation:

First step:-

3/1+6/7+4/1+9/8

then take the L.C.M (Least common factor)

L.C.M =7×8=56

3/1×56 = 168/56

6/7×8= 48/56

4/1×56= 224/56

9/8×7= 63/56

Second step:-

168+48-224+63

-----------------------

56

Then add 168 +48 +63 = 276

Now :- 276-224. 52

-------------- = ------

56. 56

Now do in standard form

52/56 = 52÷4. 13

-------- = ------

56÷4. 14

Hence, the answer is 13/14
