3. Given:

  • 68 boxes take shelf length of 3.4 metres

To Find:

  • No of boxes that take shelf length of 5.1 metres

Solution:

 \implies 3.4 metres \longrightarrow 68 boxes \\ \implies 1 metre \longrightarrow \dfrac{68\!\!\!\!/^{\:\:20}}{3.4\!\!\!\!/_{\:\:1}} boxes \\ \implies 5.1 metres \longrightarrow 20 \times 5.1 \\ \bold{\implies 5.1 metres \longrightarrow 102 boxes }\\ \\

4. Given:

  • 2.6 X 10(=26) pounds of dust picked in 10 days

To Find:

  • Dust picked in 45 days

Solution:

 \implies 10 days \longrightarrow 26 pounds \\ \implies 1 day \longrightarrow \dfrac{26\!\!\!\!/^{\:\:2.6}}{10\!\!\!\!/_{\:\:1}} pounds \\ \implies 45 days \longrightarrow 2.6 \times 45 pounds \\ \bold{\implies 45 days \longrightarrow 117 pounds\:of\: dust }\\ \\ \\

Hope it helps!
