Multiplied mumerator & denominator by 3root+7
(3+root7) (3+root7)/( 3-root7)(3+root7)=a+b root7
(3+root7)^2 /(3)^2 -(root7)^2= a+b root7
(3^2+ root7^2+2×3×root7)/ 9-7=a+b root7
9+7+6root7/ 2=a+b root7
16+6root7 /2=a+b root7
8+3root7=a+b root7
on comparing
a= 8 & b=3
