Explanation: (\sqrt{3} + \sqrt{7}) (\sqrt{3}   + \sqrt{7})

= (\sqrt{3})^{2}  +( \sqrt{7})^{2}

= (3^{\frac{1}{2}X  2 }) + (7^{\frac{1}{2}X 2} )

= 3 + 7

= 10
