SOLUTION:

First multiply,

 \frac{9}{8}  -  \frac{1}{8}  +  \frac{2}{3}

Find the Lcm of 8,8 and 3 = 24

 \frac{3 \times 9 - 3 \times 1 + 8 \times 2}{24}

 \frac{27 - 3 + 16}{24}

 \frac{40}{24}

  = \frac{10}{6}

= 1.6666666667
