In the container let's the full part ( all 8 by 8 parts ) - x
So, 3/8 of container = 3/8 × x
In that full paint of 3/8th of container there is 17.6 litres of paint.
- So, 3/8x of container it needs = 17.1 litre
- So, 3/8x of container it needs = 17.1 litre
- So, 1x part of container it needs = 17.1 × 8/3x litre So, 3/8x of container it needs = 17.1 litreSo, 1x part of container it needs = 17.1 × 8/3x litreTherefore, 5/6th of container it needs = 17.1 × 8/3 × 5/6 = 38 .
So it required 38 litres of paint to fill 5/6 of the container.
