→ 3(9 - 7X) = 12X - 5

→ 3 × (9 - 7X) = 12X - 5

→ 3 × 9 - 7X × 3 = 12X - 5

→ 27 - 21X = 12X - 5

→ 27 + 5 = 12X + 21X

→ 32 = 33X

X = 32/33
