Initial momentum = mv

Initial kinetic energy = 1/2mv^2

Now given that momentum increased by 10% then ,

New momentum = mv + 10 % mv

= mv + 10/100mv

= mv + mv /10

= 11mv/10

m(11v)/10

Increase in velocity = v/10

New kinetic energy = 1/2m(11v)^2/10

= 121/100 mv^2/2
