8(a−2b) ² −2a+4b

⇒8(a−b) ² −2(a−2b)

⇒ Take a−2b=x∴8x ² −2x−1

⇒8x² −4x+2x

⇒4x(2x−1)+1(2x−1)

⇒(4x+1)(2x−1)

∴(4(a−2b)+1)(2(a−2b)−1)

⇒(4a−8b+1)(2a−4b−1).
