Answer:

New profit sharing ratio of A,B,C and D = 6 : 9 : 9 : 8

Explanation:

Solution :

Old Ratio :

A : B : C = 2 : 3 : 3

  • A's share = 2/8
  • B's share = 3/8
  • C's share = 3/8

They admit 'D' for 1/4th share.

  • D's share = 1/4

Let,

Total Profit of all Partners = 1

  • D's share = 1/4

Remaining share =

1 - 1/4 = 3/4

New profit sharing ratio :

A's new share =

⇒ 2/8 × 3/4 = 6/32

B's new share =

⇒ 3/8 × 3/4 = 9/32

C's new share =

⇒ 3/8 × 3/4 = 9/32

D's share =

⇒ 1/4 = (1 × 8)/(4 × 8)

8/32

New profit sharing ratio =

  • A : B : C : D
  • 6/32 : 9/32 : 9/32 : 8/32

6 : 9 : 9 : 8

Therefore, New profit sharing ratio of A,B,C and D = 6 : 9 : 9 : 8
