Answer:

Average velocity will be zero.

Explanation:

I want to give u a quick formula for half distance.

Vaverage = 2×V1×V2 / V1 + V2

Answer: average velocity = total displacement/total time,Clearly average velocity is 0kmph.as total displacement is 0

Now, average speed = total distance/total time

Let total distance be 2a

So, from a to b time taken is a/30

And time taken from b to half is (a/2)/30

And from half to back a , time taken is (a/2)/70

So total time from b to a is a/42

Now total time of journey is a/30 + a/42 = 2a/35

So average velocity is 2a/(2a/35) which is equal to 35 kmph.

So your answer is average speed = 35 km/h and average velocity = 0 km/h
