Answer:

ANSWER

Mass of the car = 2000 kg

Height at which car is lifted = 30 m

Power supplied by crane is = P =

t

mgh

=

60

2000∗9.8∗30

= 9800

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

Given ,

  • Mass = 30 kg
  • Distance = 70 m
  • Acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s²

We need to find ,

  • Work done = ?

To find work done , firstly we need to find force acted.

F = m × a

Where

  • F → Force = ?
  • m → mass = 70 kg
  • a or g → acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s²

Substituting we have,

→ 30 × 9.8

F = 294 N

Now, finding work done.

W = F . S

Where

  • W → work = ?
  • F → force = 686 N
  • S → distance = 70 m

Substituting we have

→ W = 294 × 70

Work = 20580 J

Hence , worked done = 20580J
