Answer:

Answer:the answer is c)2r ,2πr

c)2r ,2πr[tex]

Assuming that "hall" here is just a small typing mistake, which happens with everyone, and considering "hall" to be "half".

If the Particle covers the hall of radius ' r '.

Then if it completes One Round -

  • The Distance will be the Circumference of Circle which is 2πr.

  • The Displacement will be 0 as the particle came back to its starting position. So, the final position coincides with the initial position. Hence, Displacement is 0.

If it Completes Half Round-

  • Distance is πr as
  • 2\pi \: r \times \frac{1}{2} = \pi \: r
  • Displacement is 2r because the particle covered half the distance of the circle. So we know Displacement is the shortest distance between Initial and final
  • position. So
  • r + r = 2r
