Total displacement s = AD = AC+CD

Given,

CD = 5 m

AB = 4 m

BC = 3 m

In ABC triangle, pythagorean theorem,

 {AC}^{2}  = AB ^{2}  +  {BC}^{2}  \\  \\   =  > AC {}^{2} =  {4}^{2}  + 3 {}^{2}  \\   \\ =  >   AC {}^{2} = 25 \\  \\   =  > AC = 5 \: m

So net displacement s = 5 + 5 = 10 m
