3.A piggy bank contains Rs. 1 coins, Rs. 2 coins, Rs. 5 coins and Rs. 10 coins. The number of Rs. 10 coins is four times the number of Rs. 5 coins, 8 times the number of Rs. 2 coins and 16 times the number of Rs. 1 coins. Let x coins of Rs 2 and y coins of Rs 5.

According to question,

2x+5y=132...(i)

x=3y...(ii)

solving both the equation we get,

y = 12 and x = 36

Therefore, number of Rs 2 coins = 36

Number of Rs 5 coins = 12
