Yes we can cut....

we know that....

1 metre = 100 cm

3 metres = 300 cm

Reasion

so when we divide it from 50 it will give zero as a reminder .as a result

 \frac{300}{50} = 6 \\

We can make 6 small ribbons....

Answer:

1 m = 100 cm

3 m = 3 × 100 = 300 cm

300 is exactly divisible by 50.

3 meters long Ribbon can be cut into 50 cm pieces.

Reason :

50÷300=6

Explanation:

We can make 6 pieces each of

length 50 cm from a Ribbon 3

metres long.

So,nothing will be left over.
