Answer:

Answer

Length = 5 cm = 500 cm

Breath = 3 cm = 300 cm

(hanging) Extra Table cover = 25 cm

∴ Length of top= 500 - 25cm =475

Breadth of top= 300 - 25 =375

Area of top = l×b

=475×375

=178125cm

Given:

  • Tablecover of table = 5m × 3m
  • Extra Table Cover = 25 cm

  • Length (l) = 5m
  • Breadth (b) = 3m

To Find

  • Find the area of the table top..?

Solution:

 \huge{ \circ } Length of the tablecover :-

:: 1 m = 100 cm

5m = 500 cm

 \huge{ \circ } Breadth of the tablecover :-

:: 1m = 100 cm

3m = 300 cm

We have to Find length of Tablecover without of Extra Hanging Table Cover,

Length (l) of Tablecover = (500 - 50)cm

 \colon\implies 450 cm

Breadth (b) of Tablecover = (300 - 50)cm

 \colon\implies 250 cm

Now, We can find the exact Area of the Table top :-

 \circ {\boxed{\tt\green{ Area_{(Rectangle)} = Length_{(l)} \times Breadth_{(l)} }}}

Putting values,

 \colon\implies{\tt{ l \times b }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ 450 \times 250 }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ 112500 \ cm^2 }} \\

Hence,

  • The Area of Table Top is 112500 cm² .

 \huge{ \circ } We can Convert Area into as:

1 m² = 10000 cm²

 \colon\implies{\tt{ m^2 = \cancel{ \dfrac{112500}{10000} } }} \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ m^2 = 11.25 }} \\

Hence,

  • Area of the Table top is 11.25
