3. A uniform electric field and a uniform magnetic field are
acting along the same direction in a certain region. If an
electron is projected in the region such that its velocity is
pointed along the direction of fields, then the electron

Answer:

a) speed will decrease

Explanation:

The Answer I am giving is in my opinion

Since direction of electron and magnetic field is same

Hence Magnetic Field will have no effect on it

Now Effect is only due to Electric Field

Since direction of electron and electric field is same

Hence Electron tends to move in the opposite direction of electric field and hence it's speed decreases
