Answer: 1000 Joules

Explanation:

Given,

Mass = 200 kg

Velocity = 10 m/s

Therefore, KE= 1/2 mv²

                      =1/2×200×10

                      = 1000 j

given,

Mass of vehicle (m) = 200 kg

velocity of vehicle (v) = 10 m/s

To find: Kinetic energy of vehicle

Solution:

Kinetic energy is defined as the energy possessed by body  by virtue of it's motion.

i.e K.E = (1/2) mv^2

Substituting the values,

K.E = (1/2)*200*10*10

K.E =  200 * 5 * 10

k.E = 10 , 000 J

Therefore, Kinetic Energy of vehicle is 10000J or 10 kJ.
